New Drum Circle Group for Mt Maunganui
A new regular drum circle meeting has started
up in Mt
Maunganui, Tauranga area.
African style Djembe drumming.
In our friendly open drum circle we gather to
enjoy playing
hand drums and percussion instruments. Most of our circles are
like a jam
session with spontaneous rhythms arising from the group, but we
are also open
to anyone sharing or teaching a rhythm to the group. Everyone can
join in and
enjoy connecting through the music as it doesn’t matter if you are
a complete
beginner or experienced drummer.
We also welcome anyone who wants to dance or watch.
If
you have a heartbeat, you have rhythm
and you can drum!
Meeting at Penguin Room, Arataki
Community
Centre, Mt Maunganui
on Monday nights 7 to 9pm.
$2 or
$3 to cover hall
charge.
